The Gallery is named after the notable painter Yang Zhiguang and manifests the Chinese paintings, calligraphies, watercolors, sketches and relevant historical documents of the artist (donated by the artist). It also exhibits other collections.
A native of
The Gallery is decorated with a bright tone, with a movable display rack as its highlight. The content is categorized into three parts chronologically: the 1940s to 1950s, the 1960s to 1970s, and the 1980s to 1990s. In recent years, exhibitions were held to showcase Yang’s art in all angles, including Sketches of Yang Zhiguang, Dancing FigurePaintings by Yang Zhiguang, Painting of Ethnic Groups by Yang Zhiguang and Painting of the Working Class by Yang Zhiguang. We also introduce his works to NationalArt Museum of China and Memorial Hall of Lingnan School of Painting.
