The Gallery is named after the noted collector Ou Chu and displays the antiques, calligraphy and paintings donated by the collector.

Ou Chu (1921—), a native of Zhongshan, Guangdong Province, is a keen antique and artworks collector. He has acquired a large number of rare and fine Chinese calligraphy, paintings, ceramics, and traditional Chinese stationary. In cooperation with the artists concerned, Ou Chu manages to preserve a large number of paintings and calligraphy created by contemporary artists.

The most unique design of the Gallery is a small bamboo garden in front of the entrance, which symbolized the gathering of refined scholars. The content is divided into four parts: Cooperative Artworks,Ceramics of All Dynasties, Stationary and Copper Wares.
